激光可以以各种方式用于测量距离或位移,而无需物理接触。 事实上,它们可以进行最灵敏和精确的长度测量,极快的记录(有时带宽为许多兆赫兹),以及最大的测量范围,即使这些质量通常不是通过单一技术相结合的。 根据具体需求,可以采用非常不同的技术方法。 它们的应用范围很广,例如建筑、制造车间检查、犯罪现场调查 (CSI) 和军事。
距离测量技术
用于激光测距仪的一些最重要的技术如下:
- 三角测量是一种几何方法,适用于 ≈ 1 毫米到数公里范围内的距离。
- 飞行时间测量(或脉冲测量)基于测量激光脉冲从测量设备到某个目标并再次返回的飞行时间。 该方法在各种激光测距仪中实现。 短距离简单设备的典型精度为几毫米或几厘米。
- 相移方法使用调强激光束。 一些激光测距仪也使用这一原理。 一种测量与飞行时间相关的强度调制的相移。 与干涉技术相比,其精度较低,但它允许在更远的距离上进行明确的测量,并且更适合具有漫反射的目标。
- 请注意,相移技术有时也称为飞行时间技术,因为相移与飞行时间成正比,但该术语更适合于上述测量光脉冲飞行时间的方法。
- 对于小距离,有时使用超声波飞行时间方法,并且该设备可能包含激光指示器,仅用于获得正确的方向,而不是用于距离测量本身。
- 调频方法涉及调频激光束,例如具有重复线性斜坡。 要测量的距离可以转换为频率偏移,该偏移可以通过发送和接收波束的节拍音符进行测量。
- 干涉仪允许距离测量,其精度远远优于所用光的波长。
